ICF Certified Coach Training

Training for and achieving your professional ICF accreditation is an integral part of your coaching profession. We have made the whole process of ICF certified coach training as plain and simple as possible for you.

Your Commitment to Coaching

Obtaining your coach certification with the ICF (International Coach Federation) shows potential clients your commitment to the coaching profession and builds your industry-wide credibility. A few factors why coaching certification is important:

84% of clients value certification as a professional standard of quality assurance
Certified coaches have higher income than non-certified coaches
Clients who work with certified coaches report better satisfaction and are more likely to recommend their coach to others
By regulating standards, skills and core competencies for coach training, the ICF ensures that life coaches, business coaches, and executive coaches are experienced, reliable professionals who abide by a strict code of ethics. There are three levels of coaching certification that ICF offers – ACC, PCC and MCC and you can read about each level below on this page.

As a globally-recognized and ICF-accredited coach training institution, Erickson’s coach training programs are highly regarded as exceeding the rigorous standards of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and producing highly-qualified coaches. Since obtaining ICF certification is integral to your coaching career, we have made the path to certification as simple as possible.

Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP)

As an Accredited Coach Training program, The Art & Science of Coaching fulfills all of the ICF’s educational and practicum requirements and supports you through the entire ICF application process.

Note: Completion of Modules I – IV of The Art & Science of Coaching fulfills ACSTH requirements only; Coaching Mastery Program is required to complete the ACTP.

Erickson has gone through a rigorous process of accreditation with the ICF and is one of a select few to achieve the impressive designation of Accredited Coach Training Program. Accredited programs are continuously reviewed and evaluated for excellence in curricula, core competencies, faculty, structure, proficiency, and ethics to support the highest quality coach training.

ICF Recognized Credentials

The ICF offers three credentials: Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Master Certified Coach (MCC). To earn an ICF Credential, a coach must:

  • Complete coach-specific training that meets ICF’s standards.
  • Achieve a designated number of coaching experience hours.
  • Partner with a Mentor Coach.
  • Demonstrate appropriate understanding and mastery of the ICF definition of coaching, Code of Ethics and Core Competencies

Having an ICF recognized credential enhances your credibility and reassures potential clients that you are an experienced and professional coach. It demonstrates that you stand by a strong code of ethics, and have a high knowledge and applied skill level of coaching tools. Coaching certification also reinforces the integrity of the coaching profession both nationally and internationally.
